Growing up in a small town in Penang, Malaysia, I never imagined that one day I would begin a new chapter of my life in Australia. That all changed when I was fortunate enough to receive a scholarship to study abroad, which opened the opportunity for me to continue my studies at the University of Wollongong.

I arrived with an accounting degree, carrying both excitement and uncertainty. After graduating, I soon gained internship experience with a local firm, which gave me my first exposure to the profession in practice. However, I was uncertain if I wanted to pursue accounting as my long-term profession. Driven by curiosity and desire to explore different perspectives, I decided to continue learning and pursued a postgraduate degree in Business Analytics and Supply Chain Management. Over time, I realised that while my postgraduate studies broadened my thinking and analytical skills, accounting was still the field that I resonated the most.

Being part of this firm marks the beginning of my professional journey. Although I am still at an early stage in my career, I feel genuinely grateful to be surrounded by a team that values integrity, collaboration, and growth. The firm environment is warm and supportive, where questions are welcomed and progress is shared and celebrated together.

Outside of work, I enjoy both adventure and quiet moments. I love travelling, and especially enjoy solo travel, as it allows me to explore new places at my own pace, often without a fixed plan, simply walking and discovering things along the way. From time to time, you will find me hiking or running along coastal trails, where I often treat these moments as a form of meditation, allowing myself to slow down and clear my mind. Lately, I’ve been enjoying making my own coffee and practising latte art every morning, working toward perfecting a solid tulip one day.
